Keith Kriegler - CEO, Inspiring U, Inc.

Keith KreiglerMr. Kriegler is a 20-year marketing veteran whose “ideas and opportunities” way of thinking has enabled him to work with leading Fortune 500 companies to help them create innovative ways to reach consumers, build brand loyalty, and achieve revenue growth. His client experience includes working on some of America’s best-known brands including Absolut, Jenn-Air, Maytag, Nabisco, McKee Foods, Sony, Tenneco, UPS, and Verizon.

He is well versed in the areas of marketing communications, brand strategy, and sales promotion. His experience lies in the areas of client service, business development, brand strategy, negotiation, project management, account supervision, and budget management.

His achievements include being ranked #40 in PROMO Magazine’s national ranking of marketing agencies in 2002. His work includes creating “The Oreo Stacking Contest” which ran for eight consecutive years to become Nabisco’s longest running in-store event. Keith is also known for the national launch and marketing campaign for The UPS Store. He and his team led the rollout for UPS in twelve markets and twenty-two store openings. He has spoken at many industry conferences including the international conference, Global Shop, in 2003, POP Show in 2001 and PROMO Expo in 2002.

Prior to founding his agency and consulting practice, Keith worked in broadcast advertising sales at three of the countries top rated radio stations; WNUA, WLUP AM/FM, Chicago, WSTR, Atlanta. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida. Keith lives in Chicago with his daughter Ciara.

Jeff Stiers - Senior IT Strategist

Mr. Stiers is a 15-year technology veteran, with a proven track record of creating lasting value and sustainable growth at internet-startup and Fortune 500 businesses. His professional experience crosses all industries, company-size, and technology challenges from the digital needs of CNN, J. Walter Thompson and the Economist to the technology programming development needs of the Brazilian Federal Government and the Chicago Housing Authority to the technology planning and implementation needs of Safeco Insurance, LSI Logic, and Pacific Bell.

Most recently, Jeff was head of Technology and Digital Media for the Chicago 2016 Olympic Bid, managing technology planning for the Games and spearheading digital communication and community building efforts. Prior to Chicago 2016, Jeff led marketing initiatives for Orbitz, an online travel website, and held leadership roles in technology consulting at Diamond Consultants and Accenture, plus three venture funded internet software start-ups NetGravity (now Doubleclick), Personify, and Verb.

He is passionate about the smart and strategic application of technology to improve the way businesses operate, brands communicate, and people go about their daily lives.

Jeff is experienced with technology tools and practices across the systems spectrum, having worked on legacy billing and insurance systems, client-server custom applications and integration, packaged CRM/ERP/SFA implementations, technology program management and portfolio/budget analysis, and all manner of web technologies (site/CMS, commerce, advertising, social networking, e-mail, mobile, SEO, and infrastructure development).

He has spoken at industry conferences (PC Forum 2001) and is experienced with Fortune 50 C-level presentation and junior technology staff coaching and team development. Jeff graduated from Purdue University with an Electrical Engineering degree and lives in Chicago.

 

Mark Skroch - Senior Advertising and Marketing Advisor

  • Partner, Account Director at OgilvyOne Worldwide

  • Mark’s background includes work involving marketing strategy development across both traditional and digital mediums. He has largely focused on helping clients launch new products in a variety of industries including mobile, finance, and consumer goods.

  • Currently, Mark joined Ogilvy to lead the Chicago 2016 digital assignment and has done a masterful job at integrating the many players, partners and agency teams to deliver a truly breakthrough, first-in-its-category social media product. Additionally, Mark head’s up Ogilvy’s digital work for BP North America including campaign development across banners and web sites while coordinating with traditional campaigns.

  • Prior to joining Ogilvy, Mark worked at RMG Connect (JWT digital team) as the lead account person on the Western Union, CUNA Mutual Group and Skinny Cow clients. There, Mark was responsible for developing the digital campaigns for each client, including Web, search, display, e-mail, TV and direct mail. This included launching new products across multiple channels requiring complete site planning, design and development from the ground up. Prior to JWT, Mark worked at Wirestone LLC as a Marketing Strategist, developing integrated digital campaigns for Jim Beam, SunCom Wireless, Abercrombie & Fitch, Motorola, and Microsoft. There Mark helped redesign sites, introduce break-through digital campaigns, and lead the global redesign of a client’s Web sites.

  • Mark began his career in consulting, working for both Ernst & Young, LLP and Arthur Andersen, LLP on Fifth Third Bank, Household Finance, Cargill, Freddie Mac, First Energy and Cinergy.

 

Darren Green - Legal Council

  • Mr. Green has more than 14 years of experience representing a wide range of clients on employment, corporate, technology, venture capital and other transactional matters across a variety of industries, including the software, “green” and sustainable industries, web design, ASP, professional services, travel, engineering, retail, publishing, manufacturing, insurance, advertising, food services and location based technologies.

  • Mr. Green spent his first six years after law school practicing corporate law at two first-tier law firms based in Chicago, and the next two years as the Vice President of Business Development and Legal Affairs at MachineTools.com, a leading business-to-business metalworking machinery marketplace.

  • Mr. Green currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University School of Law, teaching an upper level course entitled Structuring Venture Capital Transactions. In addition, Mr. Green has guest lectured at DePaul University in Chicago regarding intellectual property issues.

  • Mr. Green is also one of the founding members of Old Willow Partners, a boutique private equity business based in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, and writes a monthly travel column for The Chicago Tribune.

  • Mr. Green received his BA in 1991 from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in International Relations, and his J.D. in 1994 from the U.C.L.A. School of Law.
